The 1 Gallon Wacky Bags can process up to approximately two ounces or 50 g (dry weight) of plant material at a time.
The 5 Gallon Wacky Bags can process up to approximately 0.5 pounds or 200 grams (dry weight) of plant material at a time.
The 20 Gallon Wacky Bags can process up to approximately 2 pounds or 1 kilogram (dry weight) of plant material at a time.

COLD WATER EXTRACTION


ITEMS REQUIRED:
Set of Wacky Bags
Scoop card or spoon
Ice
Water
Pressing Screen
Clean tea towel or absorbent cloth
Wooden Spoon or Hand Mixer
Herb
Bucket

SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pre weigh herb. Do not exceed recommended weight for bag size.
2. Place Pressing Screen on Clean absorbent towel
3. Insert Bags into clean Bucket. Insert Purple 25 Micron bag first then work up to Blue 220 Micron.
4. Add water to bucket. Ensure water covers the bottom screens.
5. Add Ice to bucket. Equal portions Ice and Water are ideal.
6. Check water temperature. Water needs to be 4 C or 39.2 F.
7. Add Fresh Frozen or Dried herb to water.
8. Begin agitation. 15 to 20 Minutes is all that is required.
9. Allow mixture to sit for 20-30 minutes to allow glands to settle.
10. Lift 220 Bag, allow bag to drain into bucket. Place bag off to the side this bag ( see notes below)
11. Pull next bag down over bucket until the bottom screen reached the top of the bucket.
12. Use scoop card to remove extract from bag.
13. Place extract on Pressing screen
14. Remove bag from bucket and Rinse inside out with cool water.
15. Continue steps 10 - 13 with each remaining bag.
16. Fold Pressing screen and towel in half covering extraction. Allow towel to absorb extra water.
17. Transfer extraction to silicone mat or parchment paper to dry completely.
18. Allow Extraction to dry overnight or until weight no longer decreases.

NOTE: If process was completed correctly the plant matter left in the 220 bag should no longer contain and glands and can be composted.
If you are new to Cold Water Extraction Refreeze the plant matter and run steps 3-18 again to ensure you have extracted all of the gland heads.

DRY ICE EXTRACTION

ITEMS REQUIRED:
Set of Wacky Bags
Scoop card or spoon
Dry Ice
Water
Herb
Bucket (optional )
Large Clean Non-Porous Work area (Large Mirror or Glass )

SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pre weigh herb. Do not exceed recommended weight for bag size.
2. Crush Dry ice into smaller pieces – No larger than golf Balls
3. If using Bucket – Layer herb and Dry Ice inside bucket Place bag over bucket so bottom screen covers the opening of the bucket
4. If using Bag only – Layer Herb and Dry Ice in Bag pull drawstring and secure bag
5. Start agitation watch as the gas and pollen falls from the bag
6. Stop Agitation once extract starts to turn from blond to green
7. Use Scoop card to collect Extraction – do not touch as it will melt and stick to your hands
8. Repeat agitation – secondary agitation will contain more plant matter
If using a set – Start with the smallest bag and work up to the larger bags
9. Remove Dry Ice and Herb and rinse bag inside out
10. Allow Extraction to return to room temperature then store in airtight container.

NOTE: Agitation time and Dry Ice required varies. A little Dry Ice goes a long way.
Over agitating will cause high volume of plant material to break off into your extraction reducing quality and taste.

CLEANING:

Rinse Bags inside out with cold water immediately after use.
DO NOT LET EXTRACTION DRY ONTO BAGS.
Clean bags in cool water with mild detergent and hang dry.
Ensure bags are completely dry before storing.
All mesh bags can be machines washed with cold water and hung to dry.
If bags become clogged – 99% Isopropyl Alcohol can be applied to screen using soft brush.
